Join Miriam Gassman, Certified Laughter Yoga Instructor, as she guides us through several simple exercises which activate the "happy hormones" in our brains to induce feelings of positivity and joy. About the Teacher:
Anne Sussman is a certified Mindfulness and Meditation Instructor through the renown McLean Meditation Institute. Prior to teaching others meditation, Anne spent 20 years teaching Conflict Resolution skills to teachers, parents and students and facilitated parenting classes. Once Anne discovered the benefits of a daily meditation practice herself, she integrated her love for teaching others with this life enriching practice. Anne now offers her well respected meditation course nation wide. We are so fortunate to have her as a guest teacher at EVOLVE: The Soul School! Whether you're a first time meditation student or someone looking to deepen their practice, this course will change your life.
In this fun, inspiring workshop, participants will learn the sacred art of mala making and how your mala can be used in daily practice. Each participant will leave the workshop with a one-of-a-kind mala bead necklace, educational handouts and a renewed sense of ease. All materials and healthy snacks are included. You will also be guided through a grounding meditation connecting you to the Earth... feel the roots of your being dredging through Mother Earth... intertwined with those roots of others....

Come pause and connect with your partner. Meditation is a incredibly personal experience on it's own and it is a great way to become more present with your partner. Couple meditation brings your breathing into alignment with your partner’s and allows you to become receptive and responsive to the subtle cues you are receiving from your partner. Basically, it helps you get tuned in to your partner and his or her needs. It also helps your partner get tuned in with you.
Couple meditation is also great for people who are learning to develop a meditation practice. In couple meditation, you can support each other in your personal and couple meditation practices. I find that couples that support each other in the meditation practices are more successful at sustaining a meditation practice. During this interactive workshop, you will learn meditation techniques and be guided through intimate dialogue prompts which lend to a greater understanding of where your partner is now in their life and in their union with you. Instructional handouts will be given for reference.
